• Yes, it has an optical input. There are no mounting brackets, but there are keyhole slots on the back of the bar to hang it from screws.

• Yes, you can utilize an optical cable for the connection, one comes with the soundbar. There are no mounting brackets included but I found a set for under $20 that connected with my TV mount.
