• Yes, the monitor has both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, so you have a choice. I bought this monitor as an open-box but it came with a DisplayPort cable. The HDMI cable is, I believe sold separately, but is inexpensive. Since the laptop you're asking about is for gaming, you might want to stick with DisplayPort, as it has nice support for the Nvidia graphics card that the G5 15 uses. I'm not a gamer, so you might want to verify this with someone from Dell or Best Buy.
