Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’d upgrade to a 1080. But you’re 980 will still drive this monitor okay, you just won’t max it out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should be fine. I ran this monitor on a 970m for a couple days and it ran fine. I did notice a drop in FPS, and I could no longer run a lot of things on ultra settings at 2560x1440. The 980 is significantly more powerful than the 970m, however, so if the 970m could do it, yours should too, and I’d imagine you’d see much less of a FPS drop with it than I did. And if you do, you can still run a lower resolution if you absolutely have to (I don’t recommend it though). However, I recently upgraded to a 1070 and its amazing—way better than my old 970m.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. This monitor is built to run the newest i7 processors and 1080ti GPUs. You will have no issues maximizing your PC with this monitor. And will have plenty of upgrade room.
