Great Value with Great Specs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clean look. I love the passage underneath monitor to keep your wires bundled together. It goes up, down, rotates to portrait, tilts, and turns, lol. I did need to adjust some settings, turning on the 165hz, a few colors, and response time. I found a great video on YouTube. After that, completely satisfied. I paired it with a CybertronPC - CLX SET Desktop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 3TB Hard Drive + 480GB Solid State Drive - Black/RGB.

Avoid Dell monitors at all cost
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just to clarify, this product does what it claims to do. 1400p at 144Hz with G-sync, everything works pretty well. Color accuracy isn’t the best but with adjustments, it can get decent. This is one of few times that I want to write a review. This monitor broke after 3 months with very light use. Part of display went bad and needed to be replaced. Dell replaced it with refurbished one since 30 days have passed from original purchase. I felt like buying a refurbished monitor in the end. My previous HP monitor lasted for 2 years with no issues at all. Dell products are known for poor quality control and now I paid $300 to actually learn it. As the title says, avoid it at all cost!

Great for gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: - Affordable 144Hz G-SYNC monitor - Overclocks to 165Hz - 1440p (QHD) @ 24" --- most monitors are 1080p @ 24" or 1440p @ 27". - Fast TN panel - Supports DisplayPort for high-res, high-framerate connections. Cons: - Terrible color reproduction compared to a decent IPS panel. Colors are either "too hot" or washed out. - When calibrated for the best color, it is not a good monitor for video. Lots of pixelation and artifacts are visible with the required brightness and contrast, where they would not be visible on another monitor with decent color reproduction. - Sometimes it exhibits a weird bug where a vertical strip of ~10 pixels is removed from the center of the screen and displayed on the right edge. Power cycling the monitor resolves the issue. I may exchange for this problem. I got this as a gaming monitor because I realized my RTX 2070 just wasn't going to cut it driving a 4K monitor at the framerates I wanted. The IPS panel in my 27" Monoprice 4K monitor looked gorgeous, and for anything but games, this 24" Dell looks pretty bad in comparison. I also wanted a 24" monitor for gaming. I believe 27" is too big for gaming and doesn't allow you to keep everything within your field of view. In going with 24", though, I didn't want to step down from 4K to 1080p. I wanted to maintain as similar pixel density as possible, so I specifically wanted a 24" monitor at 1440p. This monitor does not disappoint in its sharp resolution and refresh rate, and I'm able to get 90-144fps in Battlefield V, CoD Black Ops 4, and Apex. Well above the max effective 60fps I was getting with my 4K 60Hz monitor. Go to Rtings.com to download and install the calibrated color profile and follow their settings for the best results.

Absolutely Superb
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After going briefly with an Asus -- and returning it because of its PWM backlighting (and other issues), I ended up with this Dell and never looked back. This one really checked all my boxes: ** Ultra-high refresh rate? Check. ** GSync? Check. ** Super sharp text? Check. ** Non-PWM (no flicker) backlighting? Check. After comparing dozens of brands and models, this one had the absolutely best value for the dollar. In fact, it easily beat competing monitors costing considerably more. Like most monitors, you'll want to fine-tune the color, contrast, and brightness a bit. You won't have any trouble finding optimal setting recommendations online, though. Tweaking is easy and only took me five minutes. Highest recommendation!

Best Bang For Buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My favorite monitor. It goes on sale fairly often. Great specs 1ms gtg response time (Grey to Grey) 165htz at 2k graphics for high level gaming this is very important. The 2k graphics insures you see everything crystal clear and the 165htz refresh rate means you get no frame skips assuming your graphics card can handle it. This is incredibly important for shooting games and makes it easier to land your shots. Probably the single best upgrade a gamer can get in my opinion is a high refresh rate monitor. Also has one of the lowest input lag times in a monitor at about 11ms I believe (9ms is i believe the lowest imput lag a monitor has right now) which is really important for fighting games which require precision and timing in your imputs. All around incredible monitor for the price I currently own 3 and have plans to buy a 4th all for my gaming pc. To calibrate for best color simply apply the following: Nvidia Control Panel>Adjust desktop color settings: Brightness-50% Contrast-50% Gamma-0.60% Digital vibrance-70% Hue-0 CLICK APPLY DELL Monitor settings: Brightness-26% Contrast-75% Color>Custom Color: R-97% G-99% B-96% Make sure to download the latest driver for this monitor on Dell's website. And to everyone who this helps you're welcome Also thanks to KM for the calibration info.

Fantastic gaming monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful monitor. I went from a 1080p ultra wide to this one and I love it. The 144hz and gsync is amazing. I was on the fence about investing in gsync and now I could never go back. Paired with a 1080 ti games are smooth as butter and the high frame rates are wonderful. Switching from an IPS display I’ve noticed the colors are quite as vibrant but after some calibration they are almost on par. Viewing angles deteriorate when off set but who doesn’t sit center to their monitor. Overall I am very pleased.

Amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased on sale, great features for the price. Colors are better than expected for a TN panel. Gamma was set too high out of the box, which was an easy fix. No complaints. Of course, viewing angles aren't great but who is looking at a 24" gaming monitor from the side? Stand looks nice and normal, not all gamer-y with ugly logos everywhere. Big selling point for me. 1440p is great. Windows scaling sucks, but I found that text isn't too small leaving everything at 100%. G-Sync is fantastic as well. The best feature is the high refresh rate -- 165hz is so buttery smooth, but requires a strong GPU to get the full experience of this monitor.

Insane quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.5 years and still impecable performance, only issue is that out of nowhere, whenever the power goes off it goes into factory mode and I have to manually change that so it doesnt flash colors. Dell support was useless

For the price, very worth it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.pros: -165hz refresh rate -very nice 2k display with colors popping but not over saturated -very thin slim bezels which doesn't feel like the monitor equivalent to a bag of lays -G-sync capable CONS: -menu buttons though relatively accessible are relatively small and can sometimes missclick one - Does require you to overclock the monitor to take advantage of the 165hz Review: Being my second monitor that i had purchased as an add on to my first pc build right out the box it was an immediate upgrade to my simple ASUS 60hz monitor that i had been working with for over a year now. After turning it on i can affirmatively say than the colors are extremely good out the box PRE calibration and for a majority of consumers that is very nice, now if you want to be able to fine tune it to your liking the N-vidia control center and other software can help with that or you can do it by hand if your just that cool. One thing that did strike me odd is than with the 165hz advertised refresh rate you do manually have to go through your monitor settings to set it up contrary to just the normal windows display settings, after that though you can switch it up to however you like and take full advantage of the monitors refreshing potential. It does have USB and headphone passthroughs which makes things like keyboards/mice/headphones easier to plug in rather than in the back of your PC (especially if you have not that many ports to work with off the bat). For the price that the monitor is worth and and comparing it to other monitors like 1080p monitors at 240hz or 4k at 60hz this is that middle ground that offers stunning details and amazing performance to which little to no people i could see being disappointed with this monitor. RATING: 10/10 for price 10/10 for picture quality PRE and POST calibration 10/10 refresh rate out of box/Overclocking potential 8/10 for menu button accessibility 10/10 bezels and space size 9/10 Price OVERALL RATING: 9.5/10 VERY WORTH IT I hope this review helps anyone in their decision on whether or not to buy this monitor, thank you for your time.

The BEST 24in monitor available
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this and the ASUS MG248QR to do a side by side comparison - I immediately returned the ASUS. This monitor is smooth as butter, incredibly crisp, and unbelievably fast.I play a mixture of competitive games and AAA "fun" titles (PUBG, CS:GO, Destiny 2, BF1, etc etc) And they all are absolutely amazing. Even at 1080p which is not this monitor's native resolution, it was still sharper and better than the ASUS model. Zero input lag, zero ghosting or tracing. I can't recommend this product any more than by saying - stop looking - go buy this immediately. Also - an unexpected feature - when you wake up your computer for sleep or power this thing on - it turns on instantly. Other monitors usually take 3 - 4 seconds. Not a big deal, but it just makes me love it more.

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Design is great. Super thin bezels. Very sleek design look if you don't like the gaming look of other brands. Setup was super easy no tools needed. First one I got had a group of pixels that were stuck on blue ish color. Returned to BB. Exchanged no problems. The new monitor has no screen issues. Go to the website lightbleedtest dot com to check the panel. No serious light bleed from the edges. I have never had an IPS panel so I don't know what I'm missing in terms of color reproduction but the colors look great. Used the ICC color profile from pcmonitor/info and I think the colors look great. Follow his screen calibation guide and it just looks great. Toms hardware also has a calibration if you think that looks better. G Sync. First time ever playing with it and after experiencing it can't go back. Everything is super smooth. No screen tears or stuttering. I have an alienware 17 r3 (w/4k screen), graphics amp and an EVGA 1080 FTW. I thought I would miss playing at 4k but 1440p looks great combined with G Sync. People have been talking about pixel inversion. I had to look this up. I guess when you scroll on a Web page or look up and down quick there can be a grid pattern. I haven't noticed any of that. Windows scaling looks fine at 1440p. The screen has a light anti glare coating. So you don't have a sparkle effect on white backgrounds. Overall love the monitor. Get the BB plan for 50 bucks for 4 years. Totally worth it.

Great Monitor, but wait for a sale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded to a 1080ti, so my 1080p 60hz monitor wasnt going to cut it. Bought this one on a whim and i dont regret it one bit. Games look amazing. Hoping to buy a second one.

Great product for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is great for the price. 1440p resolution with 165Hz refresh rate and Nvidia G-Sync technology. Using it for gaming and everything is so smooth. Was using a UHD monitor with 60Hz refresh rate and would take this monitor over it any day. If I could change one thing about this monitor it would be to make it 27" instead of 24" but for the price I can't complain. If it was 27" it would never be in stock.

Surprisingly great
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Usually I'm not a fan of Dell products. I bought an Acer predator before I bought the Dell and was disappointed with the quality for how much I paid (even after adjusting the settings). I returned the Acer and purchased this Dell for $120 less. This is a great value 2k 144hz monitor. It's pushed by my rtx 2070 and everything looks great!

Excellent image quality and performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent out of the box color calibration in my case. The monitor worked perfectly at 144hz and the gsync functionality is a game changer. I had been debating on getting the 27” version of this monitor but am glad I stuck with this size. The high PPI really looks great.

Tough to beat
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the monitor resolution and refresh rate. Theres a known fact of color banding with this model but by changing the settings you can get it gone mostly. 4/5 because i paid $400 for a monitor with no speakers and the height adjustment isnt as smooth. I.e feels like theres 5 different levels of height adjustments and you cant pick exactly the height you want.
