• Yes, the HDMI 2.0 port is backward compatible and works with HDMI 1.4b port. However, the resolution compatibility will be restricted to the capacity of HDMI 1.4b port.

• 1.4b is limited to 120hz at 1920x1080p so that would be your only limitation, but i know of no reason it wouldnt work
