“When on ps5 playing fortnight on performance mode and 120fps enabled I get a box in the upper left part of the screen stating it only is getting 60fps. I have the free sync setting on the monitor enabled. Can someone tell me why or what I’m doing wrong.”

Just because you have 120 enabled doesn’t mean it will run at 120. It will run at whatever game you play needs.
