QuestionI connected a 3.5in hard drive to this new computer and turned it on. The power button flashed once. Computer would not start even disconnected hard drive. Only unplugging power cord will start it again. Is the rated 180w power supply faulty?

- Answer I trust you have solved your situation by now, but for others: check the cord and its connection to both the PC and outlet; check for a power light on the PSU; unplug it, wait a couple of minutes, then plug it in again; try pressing the power button slowly. If you still can't get it to work, just return it.

- Answer This Desktop utilizes a Great CPU, memory, etc for fast performance where crisp vidio is not an issue. Not a Gaming pc. This is a serious Office machine with Great speed minus the Perfect Video Clarity. 2 different worlds.....one has a GPU the other uses the chip set CPU to run your video. I just purchased this ECT1250 because it's Fast and will not be used for gaming. Although it could run medium level games.

- Answer The Dell Owner’s Manual for the ECT1250/Tower Plus series states that the officially supported maximum storage is 2 TB per drive.

- Answer Yes there is a TPM chip for security. To the best of my knowledge it's probably still version 2.0. Not having it will not allow you to properly operate in a Win 11 environment. Not required for Win 10. It does not check for it and boots up.

- Answer Yes, it can connect. However, the karaoke machine must support Bluetooth A2DP (for audio streaming) or Bluetooth speaker mode. If it only supports Bluetooth for remote control or app pairing, it won’t stream audio.

- Answer Yes, you can use DDR5 memory with speeds of 4800 MT/s or 5600 MT/s, as the system supports both. It has two UDIMM slots and a maximum capacity of 64 GB, so you can install Crucial or any other brand as long as it meets these specs (DDR5, UDIMM, and up to 5600 MT/s).

- Answer 1. Use the Power Button- Press the physical power button once (don’t hold it down). This will initiate a safe shutdown if Windows is running normally. 2. From Windows- Click Start → Power → Shut down. Or press Ctrl + Alt + Delete → Power → Shut down. 3. If It’s Frozen- Hold the power button for 5–10 seconds until the system powers off. This is a hard shutdown—only use if the system is unresponsive.
