• A:Answer Microsofts lame attempt to compete with Chromebooks. It's a locked down walled garden limiting what the user can change and restricting software to ONLY those titles available in the Microsoft Store. Luckily, it's simple command line script to change from S-Mode to plain old windows (It's a one-way operation - you can't change back - but no one in their right mind would want to go back to S-Mode).
