The GPU is built within the CPU, which is soldered onto the motherboard. Hence, one cannot replace either. As noted in my review of this item, upgrading the CPU/GPU is fraught with issues -- mainly a constant conflict between the Windows Update-provided drivers and AMD-provided drivers. If you're picky about such things, then avoid this model entirely.
