• If you want to use Microsoft Office you'll need to purchase it. It is not included with this laptop.

• It comes with a one week trial installed so yes you will if you want to use office beyond the trial period.

• As a student your budget may be limited, download Libre Office org it is an open system, free and very similar to what Microsoft office does. This would enable you to invest the difference into other tech things you may need (mouse or back up sticks, headset) etc...
