“I installed additional RAM for this laptop: Crucial 8GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM (CT8G4SFS824A). Now I have 16GB RAM. In BIOS > System Information > Memory Information, the Memory Channel Mode = Single. Should it be "Dual"? And does it matter either way? Thx!”

Found the answer using CPU-Z freeware from: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html Under "Memory Tab," it does shows Channel # = "Dual". I guess BIOS is not not the right place to check. From what I've read, dual channel is better than single channel. All good now, thanks!
