Yes. They come with a single 8gb stick so you only need to buy another 8gb stick to upgrade. No need to replace 2 sticks worth.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Theoretically, yes you can as far as they are the same speed. Practically, I tried this many times and I did not have luck with it. Whenever I ran the built in WINDOWS MEMORY DIAGNOSTIC I had issue with them. Try to buy one from a retail store that has many in stock, install it and then run the diagnostic tool if you had issues buy another one. Having said that even if the diagnostic tool showed some errors you will not notice latency unless if you are picky (benchmark geek :)) about having the maximum performance.
