This computer is great for college. it isn't too heavy so carrying it in a backpack is not a burden at all, also the computer is powerful enough to run multiple programs at the same time allowing you to use multiple applications without fear of lag. Highly recommended I have had mine for 3 months now and it hasn't lagged once on me and I have run up to 4 applications at the same time. Great choice.
