- Answer Hello! You will need to verify that your courses will not require specific software. If they do, you'll want to google the device specifications for those school related software. As for the games, this device does meet the minimum device specifications. But we recommend a laptop with a Core i5 for a better experience.

- Answer Hello Frank! If you scroll to the bottom of the product page, you will see a section called "From The Manufacturer". If you expand that section, towards the bottom you will see a diagram of the ports that will help you identify which are USB 2.0 vs. 3.0.

- Answer I disagree with Dell on their answer. This laptop can be switched out of Windows 10 S mode to Windows 10 Home, and should run just fine. S mode is nothing more than Windows 10 with "protection" against downloading malware, viruses, etc., by preventing you from downloading programs (apps) from the web, and ONLY from the Windows Store. You can download programs (apps) that you want to use that might not be available in the Windows Store, like Chrome browser, Firefox browser, Opera browser, Zoom, Libre Office, antivirus software, etc., from trusted websites (look for https) by using Windows 10 Home as your operating system rather than Windows 10 S Mode.

- Answer Hello George! You can adjust the screen brightness on your keyboard. Any panel at an angle will vary the brightness, but you can adjust accordingly.
