A:Answer This was crucial worry to me, since I had a lappy whose battery was destroyed by below zero freezing. So haven't had a portable since my juiced up customized Acer One netbook died. At first the sucker seemed to die after 2 hours, but it's SLEEP mode does not restore automatically when you open lid- you must press power button and enter password again (until you change that in Win10 Accounts). So I thought the battery had died, but it hadn't. Anyway charged it up again, then mostly reading stuff and examining programs at standard (low) illumination without WiFi or Internet or movies, I GOT 9-10 HOURS OUT OF IT. Amazing. Then today I watched 90 minutes of movies at loudest audio and med illumination (screen is BRILLIANT), and it only used 32%, so 4.5 hours watching movies on a charge!!! Purty great for a little 4 cell battery- processor is super-efficient. Charger is only 45W.
