“Does this have an IPS screen? I've read that it does on some sites and doesn't on others! TIA”

I'm not sure if this model's screen is IPS or not, but the viewing angle is not a problem (you can see everything at a near 90 degree viewing angle) and color reproduction is pretty amazing.
