A:AnswerNope Dell no longer lets you customize machines that way. However, its not hard nor expensive to swap out the drive for a faster one.
Nice machine as it is, and with the SSD drive used for the operating system it is still very fast even with the slower mechanical drive used as a data drive.
A:AnswerIt will be able to handle them and more only trouble I have is with the battery it does not last long at all I maybe get 4 hrs out of it while running cad/matlab
