“I've had 2 other I7 laptop's from Dell. They get really, really hot. Like almost burning your skin.. Does this one run Cooler? I have been surprised my 1st one kept work as long as it did! My 2nd one of going on 3 years old”

Yes, this Inspiron does run cooler and the only time that it would run hot would be when Windows Updates are running. Again, the fan does come on when it starts to heat up
