The hinges are strong, the screen holds greet in all positions. It stands up like a army tent. Best lap top ever.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have only had it for a few weeks, but the strength is good. No problem with the screen going down unexpectedly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The hinges seem quite sturdy to me. I have used it in tablet mode several times. There is no wobble or sideways flex.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Solid as a rock!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The hinge seems to hold up OK (stays in position, does not sag). However in my 1 star review of this product, I indicated that the touchscreen exhibits a "ghost touches" problem (Google "Dell Ghost Touch Problem") which causes the screen to go haywiire since it thinks it's being touched repeatedly. I believe it's a hardware problem. Adjusting the tilt angle of the screen makes the problem better or worse. The design is poor and I would recommend a different brand or a non-touch screen model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm really enjoyng this Dell. It feels sturdy when I open the laptop. All of the hinges have connection points to the screen and the computer itself. I wouldn't worry. Nothing feels flimsy.
