“1.Is anyone having trouble with their keyboard backlit not shutting down when supposed to turn off in 5 minutes? 2. How about anyone having problems with their battery meter not being accurate. I would greatly appreciate any and all responses”

Yes. Sometimes I do have to go back and check that it really did shut down. That doesn't bother me though. I just go ahead and shut it down by holding the power button.
