If you have the license for your old version of Office 10 or later, you should be fine on any Windows 10 machine. You can download it from Microsoft and during install it will ask you for your key/license number. That can be found on the Office package/or the insert with the hologram that came with your old computer. I did it, and it worked fine. Have installed my original Office 10 license on 2 consecutive newer computers since the original purchase. It's paid for and I keep good records of my licenses/key numbers for all my software. But if you are worried remember to back up your system before you do the install, and then if it doesn't work you can roll it back.

Didn't think it would be compatible with Microsoft 10. I had spread sheets that transferred and updated just fine.
