So which is it? Dell says no, it does not come with a backlit keyboard, and a customer with a verified purchase says yes, it does.

Although there are contradictory answers to this query, I tend to think that, at this price point, it DOES NOT have a backlit keyboard. But you should have no trouble finding one that does, at just twice the price.

Whoever said that this has a lighted keyboard is wrong. It is not. Someone, and even I, had thought that this was not a touch screen...but it is. Accidentally touched the screen and it clicked on a link.

No, stock. But Yes, if you open it up, there is a connection to add the ribbon cable. So if you're tech savvy you may be able to. The slot is located just above the battery and right under the two ram dim slots.
