I bought this for my wife to do her tupperware and genealogy and facebook. She is online all the time and was having issues with slow internet video performance. I purchased another 8 gig of ram and another lenovo monitor so she would have 2 screens to work with. It has been superfast and I have had no issues with video performance at all. I am also able to play Fallout 4 with this stock system and that is pretty good. She was not sure about windows 10 but the average user does not do much with it, you just have to get used to where your programs are accessible from. So you move the shortcut to the desktop or open from the task bar. She has been very happy up to this point and that is a kudo for me and the product. I think you would be happy with this system even if you don't add the extra ram and 2nd monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The learning curve for Windows 10 is not as bad as Windows 8. However, there is a program called ClassicShell that will make the transition from 7 to 10 almost seamless. DISCLAIMER: I am NOT associated with ClassicShell nor do I receive any compensation from them. It is just a great product that I have found and use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.we also upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 with this machine. The tiles took some getting used to in the start menu at first, but now we have dragged some shortcuts to it. We do not play games on the machine, however we have a fast megabyte down load, so that would be important for playing games if we were to go with graphic intensive games. All the other MS Office programs like word and outlook for windows 10 are easy to learn most are cosmetic changes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's really simple getting used to if going from a Windows 7. 8GB should be fine for online games, simple productivity, and email... if buying for hardcore gaming, i don't recommend it.
