• This is an IPS monitor, that is partly why colors are so vivid on the display.

• It is an IPS monitor. There are many apps that can test that validity. Try games, books and view from any angle.

• Does it really make a difference? Are you looking at it from the side? IPS is basically a 178 degree viewing. If you are using it as a monitor when you are using a computer sitting in front of it, it does not make a difference.
