HOW DO YOU TURN THE SPEAKER OFF? null

There is an option to disable the speaker or reduce the volume under On-Screen Display (OSD) menu-->Audio. You can access the menu by pressing the menu button on the front panel of the monitor.

The monitor doesn't have a speaker.
