• No it's only horizontal while on the provided stand. It can be vertical if connected to a monitor mount

• No, this monitor does NOT swivel into vertical viewing mode. According to the specification page for the S3225QS on the Dell website, this monitor can slant only 4 degrees in either direction from horizontal. The image below shows the range of motion for tilt, slant, and height of the S3225QS monitor.
