• I did with my regular Dell laptop. Go to settings, then change your display to two screens or set up where you can have two different programs open, one on eachscreen.

• Yes, if your dock has two video ports. This monitor supports vga and hdmi natively, but dvi with an inexpensive adapter. I have two of these, one connected via VGA, one via dvi, using the supplied HDMI cable with a dvi-hdmi converter

• I bought two of the same identical monitors and I am using them side by side. I have two different companies info. up at the same time on the different monitors, its great!
