• I've had mine for several months now. It is QUIET. I leave it on for days at a time, if it weren't for the screen waking up or the power button light I wouldn't know it was on. I play WOW and Diablo on it and do some Photoshop, Bryce 3d and the fan is still quiet. Graphic card getting a workout but can't hear it either. No heating problems.

• I sit about 2 feet from the computer and it is quiet. One thing I did notice was the DVD/CD burner is a little bit noisy when in use.
