• I auto set mine every night before bed and it auto-starts. No extra buttons pushed

• Hello SanJoseCoffee, Thank you for reaching out. Our Combination/Espresso Machine has a 24-hour automatic turn on. Once you set the time, the unit should automatically turn on at the appointed time and brew your coffee. Thank you.
