• It can make 1 if you only fill the carafe amount for one. It is up to you to decide how much water/cups it will take.

• Hi Savas, Thank you for your question. The carafe hold up to 10 cups, but once the unit has dispensed the desired amount, you can press the "Coffee On/Off" button to stop the brewing cycle. You can also only put 3-4 cups of water in the tank and the unit will stop brewing once the water has run out. We hope this helps. Thank you.
