Yes, it can. You can make either a single (ground or E.S.E. pod) or a double (ground)

Makes a decent shot, not a fan of those 2 places, but it really depends on the coffee you buy, and also better to grind your own coffee.

The espresso is very good, with nice crema. It is worth spending a little more for this DeLonghi model over the starting price point DeLonghi which I had previously.

Yes if you get a non pressurized filter (rather than the included ones) and use fresh grounds (buy your own grinder)

Yes it can the machine is great. Just make sure to use fresh beans and the proper amount in the porta filter along with a good tamper and you will be satisfied
