That is correct what the Delta customer service stated. You should have 8 numbers and one letter. If you tried to peel off the area versus scratching possibly the first 3 came off. Hope you can get it exchanged or them issue you an new one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Delta rep was correct. The strip obscuring the PIN area is meant to scratched off. I usually just peel off the strip on gift cards but the delta gift cards are made out of cardboard so if you peel the strip instead if scratching it you are likely to peel off the top layer of cardboard along with it, thus your PIN may be incomplete.
