Due to increased production costs for the consoles and games themselves, most triple-A games we'll be seeing are going to be around the $70 mark. It's unfortunate and definitely not ideal for the consumer, but it was expected in a financial standpoint.

Devs have been saying for years they want to increase the price to $70 to help with the increased cost of development. Still $70 is a lot easier to come by in this time than release day $80 SNES games back in the 90s that would only have a few hours gameplay.
