“Which models can use this battery AND is anyone available to answer this and all the previous questions?”

• I have a Dell Inspiron 1564, and the 6 y/o battery will no longer hold a charge. If, like me, you are wondering if the battery featured here will work for your computer, here is what I see. Scroll down to and open the specifications section. It indicates model compatibility and my 1564 is shown. On my Dell battery is “Type JKVC5”, which is Model Number in specifications. So I may assume it will fit my Dell laptop except it looks nothing like the original. For now Ill pass on ordering it.
