• I have a pricey 12" or 14" sub. It's instructions say that the only way to get proper sound is to run the speakers out wires from the receiver into the sub, then use it's speaker out wires to go to the speaker. It works great that way. I did read the instructions supplied witht the receiver and they indicated it can be used with one or two subs.
