Yes you will get the sound a “normal” stereo (left and right channels) and that includes the full range of frequencies specified for those output channels. The additional range gained by a sub-woofer is beyond what “normal” speakers can handle, but it will sound perfectly “normal” as a stereo system (2 speakers).
