“Got this and these Polk speakers for the front (Polk Audio T15 100 Watt Home Theater Bookshelf Speakers) but neither came with speaker cable. Can't find anywhere in the Denon manual what type of connector to use. Looks like maybe small banana plug?”

Hello, the AVR-S750H will except Banana plugs or simply unscrew the binding post speaker terminal and insert bare wire. The Polk Audio speaker terminals are capable of the same as the receiver. 16 Gauge speaker wire will work just fine.
