You may need to hook it up to your TV to tweak the distance & levels of each of the surround sound speakers. I set mine up & had to adjust the bass for my powered subwoofer because I had none when using Bluetooth to listen to my iTunes playlists. It’s all very simple & easily explained in the setup guide. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Nick, Set-up can be done without a TV connected. It is easier to complete the set-up with a TV connected because your TV on screen menu shows a lot more information than the AVR-S760H's front panel display - which helps with menu navigation.
