Hello. The AVR-X1700H has the ability to configure a 5.2.2 Atmos set-up, including use of upward firing speakers. The up-firing speakers of your Klipsch R-625FA will connect to the 'Surround Back' ports. Your AMP Assign mode will need to be 'Front Dolby 7.1'. Here is a link which details this.
