I would suggest reading up on Apple AirPlay 2. This is exactly what you want to do -- through Wifi. Denon was one of the first companies to include Airplay 2 in their products. Airplay 2 devices on your home wifi network will "just appear" as an option to play audio on. The breakthrough with Airplay 2 is you can select more than one player device - all will be in perfect sync. You could select both your Denon receiver in the living room and an Apple HomePod in the kitchen - both 100% in sync. If you see Denon HEOS on their website that is a bit confusing -- it's just Denon's product that supports AirPlay 2.
