“I have 2 front spkrs, a center channel, 1 subwoofer, and 6 ceiling speakers. I connected the 6 ceiling speakers to:: Front surround (L and R), Back surround (L and R), Height 1 (L and R). I can hear output from all except the Back surround. suggestions?”

You need to change your setting to 11 channels
