“Is this receiver the newer model that doesn't have the faulty hdmi chip? Where can I find the serial number? The newer models with serial numbers of 70001 and higher are supposedly glitch free.”

It’s looks like it is. Our serial number ends with 77622
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can find it only in the back of the unit itself. My unit ends with 81790. I have my PS5 hooked up to it, and the hdmi signal passes at 4K 120Hz with no issues at all. So I'm gonna say at this point, you will only find newer versions that are glitch free.
