Hello, The Denon AVR-X3700H has 9 channels of amplification at the ready allowing for a 5.2.4 speaker setup. Two more channels can be added with the addition of an external 2 channel amp as the AVR-X3700H has 11 channels of processing allowing for a 5.1.6 or 7.2.4 speaker setup.

Not sure if it supports 5.1.6 though, i could be wrong but i dont think any ear level channels can be assigned to heights. Id you want an affordable option that supports 6 heights, maybe check emotiva's 13 channel for $999. I have a lot of emotiva gear and its great.
