I used this adaptor to charge my Samsung S8 smartphone and it worked perfectly. If your device has the usb-c jack it should work fine. Bring your item into the store and try it out. If for some unforseen reason it doesn't work get a refund and ask for some customer service. Any store with any type of customer service personnel can tell you want the problem is and suggest what is needed to remedy the problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This cable should NOT work to charge a Macbook Pro. The Type-C standard allows for higher power levels (up to 100 watts) and the Type A (rectangular connector on one end) and the micro connector are limited to much lower power levels than the Type-C. Therefore, anything with a Type-A port (the power brick you plug it into) should be limited to approximately 15 watts per port. Therefore, you technically shouldn't be able to use this to charge a Macbook Pro...
