Hi Jason. No, it will not. The cord has a standard USB on one end, and a micro USB (and a USB Type C adapter) on the other end. To Connect a smart device to an HDTV, you need a cord that has an HDMI plug on one end. They do sell adapters, but the issue is that you can't use the standard USB end. Cords using Lightning (Apple) or micro USB are used on most cell phones. The cord needs one of those on one end, and the HDMI on the other end. The cords range geatly in price, depending on where you buy it, the length needed, and the manufacturer.
