Will this work with a MacBook? null

As long as you don't have any need for any type of data transfer, then it will work. This cord will only charge items - it will not allow data of any sort to be transferred through it.

Yes. I bought it for that purpose. Works great and charges from a USB port in my couch, battery pack or cigarette plug. FYI if you're looking this it in the store, you'll need to look in the camera section. It took me forever to find it.
