“What is the difference in the Part Number EN-EL15 batteries? Some are listed for multiple DSLRs but NOT the D-500. While others say it is ok???? How do I tell it is good for my D-500? (?spec?)”

• Don't get this for a D500, skip it and go only Nikon genuine EN-EL15 for that. Most of the third party batteries will lock up the camera if they work at all, and all of them have substantially shorter life than OEM.

• It should say on the outside of the box which nikons it is meant for.
