• You can but the standard controller that connects with your smartphone and the free DJI app is more than sufficient!

• I didn’t have that option when I bought mine but I am going to get it. Much easier to use the controller. My phone loses the program (IPhone XS Max) and it’s a little scary losing the screen or if you get a call or text unless you have another phone. Definitely recommend.
