That depends entirely on the charger used. If using the charger that came with the M3, above an hour. If you use a lower voltage usb charger, hours are required.

With my experience, the depleted batteries take about 1 hr and 30 minutes with the charger that comes with it. If you don’t deplete the battery all the way it does not take as long. I bought two extra batteries to so I don’t have to worry about running out of battery life while I am out. Yes they are expensive but having that relief is worth it.
