I bought this drone when it first came out and have been flying it ever since. The longest range I've gotten is approximately 2 miles (10,000ft) with altitude of 400ft. The highest altitude of 1,640ft (which is the maximum set on the software) with mavic air 2 and dji fly app with appropriate range of 400 ft. As of this answers date, someone can probably get a great drone for the price, it's definitely worth it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The paperwork says that it has a max of 2 miles, but that's likely on some desert flats with nothing between you and the drone whatsoever. I flew mine up 300 ft high and back toward my house for a ways...I'd say I got about .5 miles away before it started to give me the "signal weak" warning and I turned back.
